Verdantas is seeking a talented Geotechnical Staff Engineer II to join our team in the Rancho Cucamonga office. This is an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects that make a real impact on communities and the environment. As part of our collaborative and innovative team you will contribute to geotechnical investigations design and analysis for a variety of infrastructure and development projects. We are looking for a motivated professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality solutions.

What Youll Do :

• Assist in the investigation and design of earthen structures and roadways
• Doing field testing including geotechnical borings infiltration testing and potentially fill in for compaction testing on construction projects
• Collect and help interpret data through research file reviews field observations and measurements field testing and other methods
• Assist in preparing detailed plans technical specifications and reports
• Perform computations and process data using computer software or other established methods
• Observe and document field activities and prepare construction documentation reports
• Assist in preparing cost estimates for design implementation
• Perform site inspections under the supervision of senior engineers
• Demonstrate strong technical writing and communication skills
• Occasional out-of-town travel

Salary Range : $80000-$92000
