CV Surgery APP- Hendrick Health

The Advanced Practice Practitioner for Cardiovascular Surgery, is responsible for providing health care to patients in the hospital and clinic setting. Responsible for working in consultation, cooperation, and coordination with a collaborative CV Surgeon. Functions according to the established standards and practices of medicine for Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners in the State of Texas. Nurse Practitioner must have their Surgical First Assist (SFA).

Assisting in the OR with CV Surgeons, inpatient rounding and post-op follow-ups in clinic.

1 in 5 call rotation to include week and weekend call

Level 3 Trauma Center, in process of becoming a Level 2 Trauma Center
