We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant for a 5-day assignment starting Feb 16, 2026, in California. The client is looking for a professional to manage a mix of low acuity emergency room and fast-track urgent care cases, working independently across various shifts including day, night, and potential 10-hour options. This role involves comprehensive patient assessment and treatment within the emergency medicine scope.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Work independently of Physician supervision
• See low acuity emergency room patients, including those with chest pain and undifferentiated abdominal pain
• Perform pelvic exams
• Manage occasional vertical 3 patients
• Provide care in a fast track urgent care setting for lacerations, headaches, and eye exams using slit lamps
• Give approval to technicians for performing splints
