gpac (The #1 Recruiting Firm in the Nation) is partnering with a boutique Sacramento-based law firm to identify a motivated Labor & Employment Associate Attorney to join their collaborative and well-respected employer-side defense team. This is a rare opportunity for a litigation attorney who’s passionate about employment law and looking to make a long-term impact with future partnership potential.

Position : Labor & Employment Associate

Location : Sacramento, CA (Hybrid)

Experience : 2+ years litigation experience; employment law exposure strongly preferred

Salary Range : $110,000–$150,000 DOE

Billables : ~1,700 hours (flexible target available)

Schedule : Hybrid – monthly in-office face time ideal

Licensure : California Bar required

You’ll Work On :

  • California employer-side litigation : wage & hour, PAGA, FEHA claims, class actions
  • Advising on employment practices and compliance
  • Drafting pleadings, motions, and client communications
  • Collaborating with peers and mentors across the state (fully remote options available for strong candidates)

    • What You Bring :

  • 2+ years of litigation experience (employment law exposure preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal advocacy skills
  • Commitment to employer-side labor & employment defense
  • Self-motivated and collaborative mindset
  • Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar
