About The Position

Job Title : Sonographer

Hours per Shift : 8

Experience : 1 year of sonographer experience

License : Requires appropriate state license

Certifications : ARDMS, ARRT, BLS (AHA)

Must-Have :

• Graduate of an approved Ultrasound training program
• Echo experience
• Holds a minimum of one certification from one of the following certification boards :
• Sonographer certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)

Description :

Functions as a healthcare provider, working under the supervision of the Radiology management team.

Serves as a medical imaging professional, providing clinically relevant information to assist the physician with the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Demonstrates proficiency with computer skills and software programs used for documentation activities and report generation.

Has education, training, and experience in the specialty area(s) to be performed.

Maintains regular, consistent, and punctual attendance at the assigned job location.

Must be able to participate in standby / on-call rotation after regular department hours, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to foster a collaborative atmosphere with other members of the healthcare team.
