Job Responsibilities

Review blueprints developed by Design Engineering to ensure alignment with customer quality requirements

Evaluate work instructions from Manufacturing Engineering for compliance with technical data and PWAA’s quality system

Review purchase orders for conformity to technical specifications and quality standards

Assist in creating inspection plans and reports using various inspection software platforms

Apply industry-standard RCCA methodologies to drive cross-functional continuous improvement

Conduct regularly scheduled internal process and product audits

✅ Required Skills & Attributes

Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, military and aerospace standards

Strong communication skills across all organizational levels

Proficiency in Microsoft O365 suite

Experience with RCCA / CAPA problem-solving techniques

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

GD&T expertise (ASME Y14.5M) for design and print reviews

CAM software experience (e.g., MasterCam, Siemens NX Cam)

Familiarity with inspection fixturing and assembly jig practices

CAD software experience (Siemens NX preferred)

Working knowledge of AS9100 or ISO9000 standards

Location : Lansing, MI Shift : 2nd Shift    Schedule : Full-time, Contract
