Job Title : Manufacturing Associate
FLSA Status : Non-Exempt
Job Summary
As a manufacturing associate you will be working in a manufacturing environment. In this role your responsibility will be to help your team achieve daily production goals. Work will vary based off of production needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Must be able to perform simple machine set-ups
- Must be able to read and understand most blueprints
- Demonstrate working knowledge and understanding of most QC requirements and procedures
- Must be able to monitor scrap rates
- Must be able to inspect parts in accordance with procedure policy
- Basic understanding of different cutting tools and their usage
- Basic knowledge of ISO concepts
- Understand production requirements
- Basic understanding of Lean principles
- Must be available to work overtime if required
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferredOne-year related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education & experience requiredBasic math skillsAccountability to show up to work regularly and provide a positive attitude.Physical and Environmental Conditions
Ability to stand for long periods of timeAbility to stand, sit, bend and kneel without difficultyAbility to repeatedly lift / pull / push 50lbsExposure to loud noisesWorking in the presence of fork trucks and other manufacturing machineryMust be able to lift 50 pounds independently
