Travel RN - Med / Surg

American Traveler is seeking a Med / Surg RN for an acute care setting, requiring NE or compact RN license and recent BLS certification.

Job Details

• Work in a 42-bed Medical Surgical unit within an acute care hospital,
• Patient population includes medical, surgical, and orthopedic cases,
• Usual nurse-to-patient ratios are 1 : 5-6, with 1 : 6 occurring at least once per week,
• Centralized telemetry monitoring on the unit,
• Heparin is the only titratable drip permitted,
• Respiratory therapy is available on the floor 24 hours a day,
• Patient care techs are available with a 1 : 10-12 ratio,
• Requires 12-hour night shifts (1830-0700),
• Weekend and holiday work required as needed,
• No call or standby requirements,
• Floating may be required to PCU or Burn units,
• EPIC EMR system used,
