Position Title : Engineering Lab Technician (Signal & Mechanical Integrity)

Position Overview :

We are seeking an Engineering Lab Technician to support both Signal Integrity and Mechanical Integrity testing of our connector products. This role involves hands-on testing, data analysis, and collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure our products meet rigorous electrical and mechanical specifications.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform frequency (S-Parameter), time domain (TDR, BERT), and low-level resistance measurements using lab instruments such as 4-wire meters, oscilloscopes, and function generators.
• Conduct mechanical testing using equipment such as Instrons to obtain force measurements and perform stress / cycle testing.
• Execute repeatable experiments and characterizations for both electrical and mechanical performance.
• Accurately record, store, and analyze data using Excel; generate reports and presentations in PowerPoint.
• Maintain detailed documentation of lab work and experiments in a laboratory notebook.
• Collaborate with Signal Integrity Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Manufacturing, and Sustaining Engineering teams.
• Handle sensitive equipment with precision and consistency.

Qualifications :

Physical Requirements :

The hourly ratee for this position ranges between $25.00 / hr to $38.00 annually. In determining rate of pay, Amphenol considers a variety of nondiscriminatory factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant industry experience, qualifications, skills, and education. It would be rare for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a given role.
