Primary Care Physician Locums Job Northern Orlando, Florida

General Summary :

Join a mission-driven team focused on senior care in Northern Orlando. We re looking for an experienced and compassionate Primary Care Physician for a full-time 3 6 month locum tenens assignment. Responsibilities :

Deliver comprehensive primary care for all ages

Diagnose, treat, and manage chronic and acute conditions

Prescribe medications, order labs / imaging, and refer to specialists as needed

Provide follow-up care and preventive health education

Manage patients on controlled substances (e.g., anti-anxiety medications, benzodiazepines not pain management)

Use EMR (Epic) for documentation and coordination of care

Schedule & Assignment Details :

Monday through Friday, 7 : 30 AM / 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM

Average 20 patients per day

So-me complex cases expected, so flexibility in pace is valued

No call requirements

Start : ASAP, once credentialed

Spanish-speaking is helpful, but not required

Experience with controlled substances in a primary care setting

Familiarity with Epic EMR is a plus

Requirements :

MD or DO from an accredited institution

Active Florida medical license

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

Minimum 1 year of experience in primary care, hospital, ER, or private practice
