Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med / Surg Tele position requiring ACLS and BLS certifications in a large hospital setting.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a 42-bed Med / Surg Tele unit within a 400-bed level 2 trauma hospital
  • Night shift schedule with four 12-hour shifts from 19 : 00 to 7 : 30
  • Patient ratios typically 1 : 4 or 1 : 5
  • Position is a 13-week travel assignment
  • Must live at least 40 miles from the facility
  • Complete non-billable onboarding modules prior to start
  • Position is not open to current or recent permanent employees of the facility
  • Team-based work environment in a high-acuity setting
  • First-time travelers may be considered if they have substantial experience in similar settings

    • Requirements

  • Active AL or compact RN license required at time of consideration
  • Certifications required : ACLS and BLS
  • Prior travel nursing experience required or extensive relevant experience in large healthcare facilities
  • Must provide two professional references
  • Copy of driver's license and Social Security Number required
