Summary of Role
As a Registered Nurse (RN) , you will play a vital role in our community, ensuring our residents feel at home. Your primary mission will be to provide high-quality, holistic nursing care that aligns with professional standards and healthcare regulations. You will lead both licensed and non-professional staff in delivering direct resident care and support functions.

Shift & Wage
Shift : Full-time | Evening or Night shifts | Rotating weekends
Wage : $32.00 - $38.80 / hr based on experience | $4k Sign-on Bonus

Essential Job Functions
Conduct daily nursing functions in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines.Ensure compliance with written policies and procedures among nursing personnel.Manage the admission, transfer, and discharge of residents with appropriate documentation.Participate in the orientation of new residents and their families.Make rounds with healthcare providers as needed.Utilize nursing personnel qualifications according to resident care plans and healthcare provider orders.Communication & Documentation Functions
Complete daily clinical and environmental rounds to evaluate resident care.Address and resolve issues with residents and family members, reporting significant matters to supervisors.Participate in facility surveys as requested by management.Manage clinical programs as directed (e.g., dementia, wound care).Assist in developing interim care plans and updating care plans based on nursing needs.Communicate effectively with healthcare providers regarding treatment plans and progress notes.Medication Administration Functions
Prepare and administer medications as ordered by healthcare providers.Ensure adequate supplies of medications and report needs to supervisors.Review medication administration records for accuracy and completeness.Dispose of drugs and narcotics according to established procedures.Personnel Functions
Supervise nursing units to ensure compliance with nursing standards.Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to address staff performance issues.Review complaints and grievances, working towards resolution.Safety and Sanitation Functions
Ensure availability of protective equipment for staff.Maintain cleanliness in nursing service work areas and resident rooms.Recommend equipment and supply needs to the Director of Nursing.Perform other job-related duties as assigned.Knowledge and Critical Skills
Ability to make independent decisions and follow instructions.Skill in dealing tactfully with personnel, residents, and the public.Capable of working with diverse populations, including the ill and elderly.Effective communication skills for interaction with supervisors, team members, and families.Education and Experience
Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.Current, unencumbered RN license in good standing required.Preferred : One year of nursing experience in home care, assisted living, or long-term care.Supervisory Responsibility
This position requires oversight of resident care provided by CNAs / Caregivers, who do not report directly to the RN.
