Job description

Texas Children's Hospital Houston seeks pediatric emergency medicine (PEM) physicians to provide patient care in the Emergency Center in The Woodlands, North Houston TX.

Position Highlights :

  • Experience working in a pediatric medical center or specialty care unit that serves complex pediatric cases.
  • Clinical duties for PEM physicians are to evaluate, diagnose, manage, consult, and treat all patients who seek care in the Texas Children's Emergency Centers for any problem or complaint.
  • Core privileges include the performance of high stakes and other procedures commonly performed or needing to be performed urgently or emergently

Qualifications :

  • Applicants must have an M.D., D.O., or equivalent degree and be Board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
  • The selected candidate for the position must be eligible to obtain or hold an active Texas medical license.
  • Graduated from an accredited Pediatrics / Emergency Medicine Residency and has completed a (PEM) Fellowship
