As an X-Ray Technologist I , you will play a crucial role in performing diagnostic examinations that aid in patient care. We value a supportive and calm environment for our patients, ensuring adherence to examination instructions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform radiographic procedures with precision and care.
• Ensure accurate identification for all images.
• Engage with patients, document their history, and input information into our system.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and radiation safety.
• Monitor patient vital signs during procedures.
• Provide coverage during staff shortages or high patient volumes.
• Mentor and train new staff as needed.
• Stay current with CPR certification.
• Comply with Standards of Care, regulations, and ethical standards.
• Uphold HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
• Create a positive patient experience and communicate clearly about procedures and follow-up care.
• Submit diagnostic-quality images consistently, performing quality assurance checks.
• Contribute to efficient operations and maximize modality productivity.
• Utilize sterile techniques to prevent contamination.
• Review and present completed examinations to radiologists, sharing relevant patient data.
• Promote teamwork and a collaborative work environment.
• Adapt to changes and meet deadlines with accountability.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain required certifications.
• Keep examination rooms clean and organized.

Compensation : The hourly range for New York residents is $23.22 to $45.43. Pay is based on various factors, including experience and education. In addition to competitive pay, we provide comprehensive benefits including health insurance, a 401k plan, and professional development opportunities.
