A privately held, multi-billion-dollar industrial distributor / manufacturer is looking to hire a Cost Accounting Manager to lead financial efforts tied to inventory, costing, and operational performance. There are tons of growth opportunities to progress your career quickly internally or within the numerous business units. This is a newly created role due to company growth, offering a unique opportunity to build and refine processes from the ground up. The position is highly strategic, partnering across supply chain, operations, and finance. You will be tasked with improving and implementing costing policies and procedures.

Job Description

Cost Accounting Manager Responsibilities :

• Oversee all aspects of cost accounting, including variance analysis, inventory costing, and margin analysis.
• Evaluate current costing processes and systems and implement improvements as needed.
• Serve as a key business partner to operations, logistics, and supply chain teams.
• Support month-end activities, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Leverage SAP S / 4HANA to ensure accuracy of inventory and cost data.
• Provide insights on standard vs. actual costing models and recommend structural changes.
