Job Description & Requirements Specialty : PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline : RN Duration : 3 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, evenings, nights Employment Type : Travel Available for Travel or Local Candidates Description : Required Exp : 2 years recent acute care experience, MUST HAVE SURGICAL STEPDOWN EXPERIENCE AT A LEVEL 1 TRAUMA CENTER Client requires SHC's QA Team to pre-screen talent prior to submitting to the client - please be sure talent is aware our QA team will be calling to screen them prior to them being submitted to the client. IMCU / Stepdown experience, auto med dispensing and more than 1 previous travel assignment. Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips. Tele test and CC Med test on day 1. Preferred Exp : Tertiary facility experience. Unit sees post-operative patients requiring intermediate care transferred from PACU or SICU and includes cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, trauma, and transplant patients. 38 beds with an average patient ratio of 1 : 3, 1 : 4 or 1 : 4-5 if MedSurg patients.
