Safety Manager - Manufacturing (Phoenix)

A mid-sized manufacturing operation with facilities in Chandler, AZ and California is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a direct hire opportunity which includes salary and employee benefits.

Qualifications / Experience :

• High School Degree or equivalent
• 5+ years manufacturing safety
• 4+ years experience in safety and health program management
• Knowledge of OSHA, local safety laws, and other regulatory agencies
• CPR / First Aid Certified
• Ability to move up to 100 lbs.
• Forklift License-ability to operate a sit-down forklift and ability to be certified
• Bilingual in Spanish required

Responsibilities :

Travel to the manufacturing facility in Greater Los Angeles will be required. Frequency of travel will be variable based on the needs of the business.
