Comprehensive Energy Services, Inc. is hiring a Project Engineer - Intern!

Comprehensive Energy Services, Inc. is searching for an exceptional Project Engineer Intern to join our team. The Project Engineer Intern will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience working closely with the Project Managers, Estimating, Design and Construction team supporting different projects. The ideal candidate is a learner, dependable, adaptable, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator. This is a great internship opportunity for students pursuing Construction Management, Engineering, or related fields.

Project Engineer Internship duties include, but are not limited to :

• Get hands-on experience in the technical aspects and business aspects of our business
• Shadow staff and perform actual work in every area of your discipline
• Assist the Project Engineer and / or Project Manager with tasks as required
• Labor and Work progress tracking with Foreman or Superintendent
• Distribution of drawings and processing Request for Information (RFI's) for review
• Maintenance of field drawings and equipment records
• Introduction to Estimating
• Receive, review, forward, and track the status of submittal
• Track and inspect material deliveries.
• Actively learns and obtains job-related information via observation and direction from supervision
• Candidate must be willing to travel within Florida
• Must be capable of walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, squatting, climbing, or sitting for periods of time
• Performs other related administrative and technical duties as may be assigned or requested
