Position Summary

Under the general direction of the Machine Sales Manager - Pacific Region, the Machine Sales Representative is accountable for the strategic planning, sales (retail), and marketing for an assigned customer account list. The Machine Sales Representative will contact assigned customers to achieve maximum sales and profit for the company.

Essential Functions

• Develops, implements, and executes a marketing plan for an assigned customer base.
• Prepares and delivers professional sales presentations and quotations to include the follow up necessary to secure the business.
• Develops and expands current customer database and updates monthly.
• Establishes and maintains a machine ownership list of equipment owned by customers on the call list.
• Submits a summary of account activity on a monthly basis.
• Provides financial counseling / marketing to entire customer base, upon request, to facilitate sales. Ensures customers are invoiced and funds received by the Company in a timely manner.
• Generates "Cold Calls" to develop new accounts and add to database.
• Controls expenses required in transacting sales.
