Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery RN with a NJ or compact RN license and high-risk OB experience for a Level III facility.

Responsibilities Work in a Level III high-risk Labor and Delivery hospital unit

Day shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week from 7 : 00 to 19 : 00

Expected to float to High Risk OB unit and up to two nearby lower-volume hospitals as needed

Patient population includes early inductions, antepartum, and patients on continuous monitoring

Scrubs are provided by the hospital

Responsible for caring for high-risk obstetric patients in a busy delivery setting

Floating is infrequent but may occur based on census and staffing needs; assignments remain within scope of practice

Block scheduling is not guaranteed

RTO must be provided at the time of application; no RTO allowed first week; candidates with four days or less RTO are prioritized

First-time travelers are accepted

Hospital will conduct fit testing and requires staff to be clean shaven

No travel pairs accepted; each candidate must apply individually

Requirements Active NJ or compact RN license in hand (pending licenses not accepted)

Minimum of 2.5-3 years recent experience in Labor and Delivery, with at least 2 years in the specialty within the last 12 months

Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, NRP (all current at time of consideration)

Must pass a dysrhythmia test on a PC within 72 hours of signing; only two attempts allowed

COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required with no exemptions

Preferred experience with Epic EMR
