Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist with expertise in school settings. This contract position is situated in Portage, MI, within a K-12 school environment, where you will play a crucial role in supporting the communication needs of students.

Qualifications :

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC).
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred.
  • Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Knowledge of special education policies and procedures.

Location : Portage, MI (K-12 School Environment)

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct assessments to identify students' speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual students.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students overall development.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and outcomes.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to discussions regarding student needs and progress.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions in accordance with established goals.
