Job Summary
The Hotel Kitchen Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen within a hotel setting. This role involves managing kitchen staff, ensuring food quality and safety standards are met, and maintaining inventory and budget controls. The Kitchen Manager will work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager and General Manager to deliver an exceptional dining experience for guests.
Education and Experience
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a professional kitchen environment.
- Proven experience in kitchen management or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Knowledge
Food Production - Knowledge of techniques and equipment for preparing and cooking food products for consumption, including storage / handling techniques.Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.Administration and Management - Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.Basic Skills

Oversee the daily operations of the hotel kitchen, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety.Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed, ensuring cost-effective purchase and waste reduction.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.Monitor food preparation and presentation to ensure consistent quality and guest satisfaction.Address and resolve any issues or complaints related to kitchen operations or food quality.Compensation :
