The Opportunity

If youre detail-oriented, experienced in tax preparation, and thrive in a collaborative environment, this role is for you. As a Tax Advisor at Stevens Foster, youll prepare and review tax returns, develop projections, and support planning strategies for our high-net-worth clients and executive professionals.

As an independent Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), Stevens Foster takes an integrated approach to wealth management. Our tax professionals collaborate closely with Client Account Managers, planners, and investment specialists to deliver coordinated solutions. As a Tax Advisor, your focus on precision, compliance, and proactive planning ensures our clients receive seamless, high-quality service.

What Youll Do

• Prepare and review individual, fiduciary, trust, estate, gift, and entity tax returns.
• Develop quarterly and annual tax projections and estimates.
• Research tax issues and communicate legislative updates to clients and colleagues.
• Collaborate with Client Account Managers and planners to integrate tax strategies into client wealth plans.
• Present or support the presentation of complex tax strategies in client meetings.
• Supervise and support Tax Associates in document collection, e-filing, and workflow tracking.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure quality control across the tax process.
• Support responses to IRS and state tax audits.

This role offers a competitive base salary in the range of $65,000$100,000, depending on experience and qualifications, along with bonus opportunities.
