Pediatric Opening in Houlton, ME Bangor 119m Four day work week (Monday - Thursday or Tuesday - Friday) Outpatient Call 1 : 2 Approximately 95-100 births annually The only time a pediatrician must be in attendance if there is an after hour unplanned C-section or if the delivery turns high risk. We transport to a contracted NICU approximately 10 babies annually. 10 pediatric general admissions annually. Anything that would be of serious in nature would be transferred out.25 bed Critical Access hospital with a 10 bed active ED. We are located in beautiful Northern Maine, just minutes from the Canadian Border. The Greater Houlton area offers some of the States most scenic landscapes. The town offers many of the amenities of larger cities, but on a smaller, easier scale, including shopping, fine dining, entertainment, great schools and affordable living options. We have ample outdoor activities, such as skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, boating, fishing, hiking and much more.
