• Duties : - OB Hospitalist & GYN ED coverage - Need to be immediately available to L&D and the ED. - Back up Family Med CNM providers & care for unassigned patients.
• Required Procedures : - Low & High Risk pregnancy - FHR interpretation-NST / CST / FSE - OB Ultrasounds : Performance of, interpretation (Level I / Screening (viability) - Routine Delivery : Vaginal, Low forceps, Decision-making for c-section - Complicated Delivery : C-section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, VBACs. - Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations - Office / minor gyn : IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, Cryosurgery, LEEP, etc. - Surgical gyne : Open, Laparoscopic Diagnostic / Minor only : Tubal Ligation, LOAs, Chronal Tubation - Operative / Major (includes diagnostic) : Ectopic Pregnancy, Ovary Removal, Cystectomy, Extensive LOAs - Laser certification
