About the Role

Techno is seeking a highly experienced Director or Senior Manager of Finance—a foundational hire who will build and lead the company’s finance function. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role offers unmatched executive visibility and the chance to influence both strategy and operations at a critical stage of growth. You will be responsible for establishing and overseeing all financial disciplines, including strategic finance, accounting, FAR‑based reporting, billing, compliance, and systems optimization. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands‑on, with deep experience in AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) and a strong command of city / state‑funded project accounting in the Tri‑State area.

What You’ll Do

Strategic Finance & Executive Leadership

• Serve as a key advisor to the CEO and executive leadership on all financial matters
• Build and lead annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Provide financial models, KPIs, and business insights to support growth strategy
• Prepare board‑level reports and help shape long‑term investment and hiring decisions

The Pay Range For This Role Is

110,000 - 160,000 USD per year (Princeton, NJ)
