Job Description & Requirements Specialty : PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care Discipline : RN Start Date : 12 / 15 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Title : RN PICU Location : Madison, WI 53792 Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Day 3x12-Hour (07 : 00 - 19 : 30) Requirements : 2 year(s) of Exp. Required. RN Active License. BLS, PALS Required. Epic Required. Description : Day / Evening, 12 hour shift, 7 : 00am-7 : 30pm. Monday through Friday with every other weekend and some holidays required. Strong Pediatric ICU experience and general cardiac experience required. EPIC experience – required. Within the past 12 months preferred. Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within the last three years. Education : Baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred. Telemetry Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience. Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start. We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to : Join our remarkable highly skilled and committed multidisciplinary team, to provide family-centered care to critically ill or injured children and their families in this state-of-the art 21-bed unit. Provide comprehensive care for patients admitted with a wide variety of both medical and surgical problems. Problems include : acute head injuries, critical neurological disorders, pulmonary diseases, cardiac anomalies, organ transplantation, multi system organ failure, and ECMO. Facility Requirement : Traveler’s permanent address must be 50 miles from assigned primary work site location. Floating - Travelers are the first. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and / or different locations within the organization. During the traveler’s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.
