Timmons Group is currently seeking an experienced and focused Landscape Architect Senior Project Manager in our Richmond, VA office to work on exciting projects across Central Virginia. Our award-winning landscape architecture and land planning team offers an extensive range of services for commercial, mixed-use, parks and open space, energy and renewables, campus and institution, multi-family, and government clients across multiple markets. With a multidisciplinary approach spanning from concept to construction, we create high-performing and beautiful landscapes across all design scales, serving diverse markets and clients.

As Senior Project Manager , you will successfully manage all phases of work, collaborate with external consultants on high-profile projects, and mentor team members in professional growth, development, and career advancement. Candidates should be passionate about the built environment, self-motived, love design at all levels, and comfortable working in a collaborative studio culture. Essential Roles and Responsibilities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to :

Project and Task Management (55-65%)

• Manage and supervise internal landscape architecture and civil engineer project teams with planning, site layout, and landscape design documents.
• Manage external consultants and project teams with planning, site layout, and construction documents.
• Maintain and develop client relationships.
• Collaborate with Directors to coordinate concept visioning sessions.
• Provide QA / QC from concept to documentation.
• Work closely with project managers to maintain project deadlines, budgets, milestones, deliverables, and communicate this information to team members.

Design and Technical Production (5-15%)

Department Operations (10-15%)

Marketing and Business Development (10-15%)

Administrative Management, Marketing, and Training (10-20%)
