The posted compensation range of $36.00 - $49.07 / hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

In keeping with Dignity Health, Pacific Central Coast Health Center philosophy, the Clinic Supervisor, under the direction of the Director of Operations and the Medical Director, supports and promotes the provision of quality patient care. Actively participates as a team member in the systems, functions, and activities of the health center. The Clinic Supervisor performs scheduling, insurance verification, authorizations, and billing functions. The Clinic Supervisor assists the licensed medical staff in the preparation of patients for delivery of services, and the supervision and evaluation of staff.

Minimum : Five years working in a health center setting. Experience in the supervision and evaluation of staff. Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles, standard practices, procedures, and equipment utilized in front and back office medical management. Ability to coordinate patient care. Computer skills in Excel, Word and electronic medical records. Knowledge of medical terminology and basic procedures. Self-motivated and able to achieve results through good organizational skills. Reacts calmly and efficiently in emergencies and unpredictable situations.

Preferred : Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written English and Spanish, clearly, concisely, and accurately.

Our experienced physicians and advanced practice providers offer a wide range of primary and specialty care services. PHC is a part of Dignity Health Central Coast's award-winning network of outstanding hospitals, imaging centers, laboratories, and post-acute services.
