Job description

Production Manager

We're looking for a committed Production Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility. This role is key to managing production timelines, ensuring product quality, and guiding a team to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. The Production Manager will work closely with departments such as procurement, logistics, and quality assurance to streamline operations and uphold regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage daily production activities for optimal efficiency
  • Develop and maintain production schedules to meet output goals and quality benchmarks
  • Lead and supervise production teams, ensuring compliance with safety and quality protocols
  • Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and QA to support seamless operations
  • Track equipment performance and arrange maintenance as needed
  • Drive process enhancements to boost productivity and minimize waste
  • Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and internal standards
  • Analyze production data and report key metrics to senior leadership

Required Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 5 years in a production or manufacturing leadership role, ideally within the food or beverage sector
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage operations effectively
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices
  • Knowledge of FDA, USDA, and other food industry compliance standards

  • The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00 / yr.

    This is a fully onsite position in Indianapolis, IN.
