divh2Bus IPT Program Manager / h2pThe position is for a Bus IPT Program Manager who is responsible for technical, cost and schedule of a cross functional aligned team responsible for delivering the bus portion of the Phase 2 The MUOS SLE IPT is a cross functional, government aligned team responsible for delivering the Phase 2 extension of the Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) satellite constellation. The Bus IPT Lead is critical to the success of the MUOS Service Life Extension (SLE) because they provide authoritative technical and programmatic direction for all bus related engineering activities, which are the heart of the space vehicles capability. By overseeing Bus architecture, development, management, common product integration, and vehicle integration, the IPT Lead ensures that performance requirements for the Bus development are met on schedule and within cost constraints. The IPT lead will need to ensure rapid resolution of cross-team internally and externally to ensure seamless coordination with all partners. This focused leadership safeguards the bus integrity, reduces risk of costly redesigns, and directly supports the MUOS SLEs mandate to deliver reliable, high-capacity communications for warfighters worldwide. The IPT Member will act as a Program focal point for his / her discipline, drive technical and program decisions, and keep the team aligned with the Integrated Baseline Review (IBR), Earned Value Management (EVM) and the contracts Fixed Price Incentive Fee (FPIF) requirements. / ppBasic Qualifications : Minimum 7 years in satellite communications, or product development programs. Proven experience on an Integrated Product Team for a government-owned, Fixed Price or FPIF contract. Strong knowledge of Spacecraft bus components and products. Bachelors degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical or 12+ years of applicable related experience. / ppDesired Skills : Ability to influence cross functional teams, resolve conflicts, and present technical information clearly to both technical and non technical audiences. Strong knowledge with Earned Value Management, Program Baseline Reviews (IBR / EDR / FDR), and general understanding of DFARS / FAR contract clause / provisions. Proficiency with MBSE tools (i.e. Cameo, DOORS), system architecture modeling, and configuration management processes. / ppSecurity Clearance Statement : This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
