This data-driven, detail-oriented individual, as part of the Supply Chain Management team, will be responsible for managing and analyzing the flow of materials within the Franklin location to ensure timely availability for production. This is a high-impact, visible role that involves forecasting material needs, optimizing inventory levels, coordinating with supplies, and supporting cost-effective procurement strategies that will minimize delays in production. This position reports to the Materials Manager, is onsite, and is based in Franklin, NH.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyze and forecast material requirements based on production schedules and business needs.
• Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Conduct regular audits of inventory and reconcile discrepancies.
• Utilize ERP and MRP systems to manage material data and track performance.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships to negotiate pricing and delivery terms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, finance, engineering) to align material planning with organizational goals.
• Prepare reports and dashboards for senior management on material usage, costs, and performance metrics.
• Identify and implement process improvements in material handling and inventory control.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies
• Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by Materials Manager or Company management.
• Travel Requirements : up to 10%

Working Conditions : While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site at a manufacturing facility and will perform the majority of your duties in both office and manufacturing environments. You will be required to wear the appropriate personal protective equipment. You will be required to work in the office at the Franklin, NH location (Monday Friday). Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager.
