We are looking for an afternoon and / or weekend therapist in home
Duties :
Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)Collect and record data on client progress and behaviorAssist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plansCollaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventionsUse positive reinforcement techniques to promote skill acquisition and behavior changeConduct preference assessments and assist with functional behavior assessmentsSkills :
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to follow directions and implement behavior intervention plans accuratelyStrong organizational skills and attention to detailPatience and compassion when working with individuals with ASDAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamBasic computer skills for data collection and reportingRBT Certification a plusThis position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience working with individuals with ASD is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
