Salary : $40,000 plus commission

Overview :

Terra Labor is looking for an experienced and strategic Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead the sales cycle from qualified lead to signed contract. This individual will manage client relationships, present service solutions, handle proposals and negotiations, and play a key role in both customer acquisition and long-term account growth. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in B2B service sales, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to foster lasting partnerships with clients.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage the full sales cycle for pre-qualified leads : presentation, proposal, negotiation, and contract closing.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
  • Identify and bring in new business opportunities and strategic clients.
  • Serve as the main point of contact during the client journey, assisting with any challenges or questions during the service process.
  • Prepare and present commercial proposals, project projections, rate negotiations, and deal terms.
  • Execute closing strategies to successfully complete agreements and contracts.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure successful project implementation and delivery.
  • Maintain detailed records of interactions, progress, and sales pipeline using CRM tools and reporting systems.
  • Travel regularly (5070%) to visit clients, attend meetings, and strengthen relationships.

Qualifications and Skills :

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in service sales, preferably in B2B environments.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Word, Outlook, calendars, and virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet).
  • High level of self-motivation and accountability in a client-facing role.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and access to a vehicle.
  • Availability to travel up to 50% of the time and meet clients in person regularly.
  • Bilingual : Spanish and English required.
