Job descriptionTravel CVOR CST position at Porter Hospital in Valparaiso, Indiana. Surgical assist in surgical cases, turnover rooms, stock, take call, cover other cases if no open hearts are scheduled. Required skills include open heart experience; other experience includes ortho, neuro, Davinci robot, general, gyn, podiatry. EMR system used : Cerner. CST certification required. BLS certification required. Minimum 2 years of experience. Must attach required license and certifications with submission. Driver's license and permanent home address must be included and match ID. Travelers must be greater than 50 miles from facility; local candidates not accepted. Shift : Days 06 : 45 - 15 : 15, plus on-call requirements. RTO blackout dates or required holidays : Yes. Maximum amount of RTO : 2 days. Block scheduling not an option. Approved orientation duration : 5 days. Number of beds in unit : 12. Patient ratio varies. Reason for opening and other internal details not provided. EMR system : Cerner. Scrub color : Blue provided; Scrubex on site. Parking location not specified.
