Job Summary (Pediatrics Office Nurse - RN or LPN)

• Provide direct patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions for pediatric patients.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records, documenting conditions, treatments, and progress; report changes or concerns promptly.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and protocols.
• Educate patients and families about disease management, treatment options, and preventive healthcare.
• Offer emotional support to patients and advocate for patient rights, ensuring compassionate and respectful care.
• Supervise, teach, and direct clinical support staff (LPNs and Medical Assistants) in delegated tasks.
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe and ethical environment.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with medical advancements and best practices.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and hospital information.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and equipment.
• Requires at least some prior nursing experience (new graduate nurses not accepted).
• Hold a valid RN or LPN license issued by the New Hampshire Board of Nursing (NH or Compact License must be active).
• Hold current certifications in ACLS and BLS (AHA).
• Full-time position at Monadnock Regional Pediatrics, Monadnock Community Hospital.
