We are looking for a Loan Closing Support Specialist in the Middlesex County, NJ area. The ideal candidate will have experience using Encompass software. If you have 2+ years of loan closing experience and are looking to grow your career, this might be the opportunity for you!

Responsibilities :

• Review loan applications and credit reports to ensure accuracy and identify potential issues.
• Coordinate and order necessary documents such as appraisals, property searches, title policies, and employment verifications.
• Collaborate with underwriters, branch teams, and other mortgage professionals to address closing conditions and finalize loans.
• Prepare and verify closing documents, including regulatory disclosures, ensuring compliance with state and federal policies.
• Schedule loan closings with borrowers, branches, and settlement agents, maintaining clear communication throughout the process.
• Assist in gathering required documents, such as homeowner details, pay stubs, and employment verification, ensuring completeness for closing.
• Maintain a strong understanding of industry tools, such as Encompass, to streamline loan processing.
• Support post-closing activities to ensure all documentation is accurate and properly filed.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing borrower inquiries and maintaining positive relationships.
• Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned by management to support departmental goals.
• Proficiency in using Encompass software is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in loan closing.
• Knowledge of loan policies and state and federal compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
• Proficiency in Windows and Excel.
