Job Description

PURPOSE OF THE JOB : This role is focused on developing, analyzing, and modelling operational, economic, management, accounting, and other organizational data to quantify the competitive performance operations, evaluate potential operational changes, and design new approaches and methodologies. This role's responsibility includes analyzing organizational data to recommend and implement solutions from PoC to MVP and beyond, quantifying the competitive performance of the operations and / or markets, and modeling and evaluating the potential impact of changes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Designs and participates in the end-to-end model process of analyzing large structured, semi structured, and unstructured datasets, developing models, implementing solutions and monitoring outcomes. Incorporates finding and provides industry and competitor insights as part of model development and enhancement.
• Combine business acumen with mathematical capabilities to develop and fine tune state of the art across a variety of insurance related application with some guidance.
• Works closely with business partners and stakeholders to identify critical questions and build hypotheses; develop problem definition, analytical approach, and determines best approach to address business issues.
• Translates technical analyses and results into simple visuals and actionable items for business partners.
• Participates in the selection of research tools and technologies, design of a common research process, and brainstorming new opportunities and methodologies.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

A master's degree will be considered in lieu of one to two years of experience.
