Production Scheduler

The Carlson Company at 9800 W. York in Wichita, Kansas has an opening available for a production scheduler in our newly renovated manufacturing facility, just West of the Airport (ICT).

This is a full time, first shift position ( We close at 4 : 30 pm ) we have paid Employee Health Insurance a 401K and the possibility of overtime.

Regarding starting salary, this is negotiable and can be discussed during an interview.

We are a well-established and reliable company working with the wind power industry

and a machine shop where we manufacture our own line of industrial clutches and brakes.

We prefer at least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role; Manufacturing experience is a plus.

You will need to understand manufacturing processes, use inventory management software and have strong organizational skills.

You must be able to :

Coordinate the flow of work in production.

Review work schedules, systematize the delivery of raw materials.

Make decisions on sequence of production and coordinate with the Machine Shop, Engineers, Assembly and Purchasing Department.

Plan and monitor material movement in the production cycle to ensure continuous operations.

Monitor the execution of job orders, prioritize and adjust production schedules for timely delivery.

You must be able to pass a drug screen.
