A Child / Adolescent Psychiatrist is needed for a clinical position with a focus on both medication management and evaluations. The role offers a flexible working schedule and requires the psychiatrist to manage a caseload of up to 20 patients per day, with specific time slots allocated for different types of evaluations. The psychiatrist will collaborate with a team of other mental health professionals and will have administrative support to aid in patient management.

Start date is as soon as credentialed and they can grant temps in 3-4 weeks.

Onsite or willing for tele psych?

Preferably on site or with on-site / off-site flexibility. However, we will accept off-site telehealth

Assuming M-F 8am-5pm schedule?

Schedule 8 : 30 - 5 : 00pm or 11 : 30 - 8 : 00pm (7.5 hour workday, we do not pay for the lunch hour)

Patients per day?

Maximum 20 per-day and Minimum 16 per-day

How much time for new evaluations and how much time for med management?

18 / u?

(Medication Management scheduled for 20-minute slots) Minimum 16-per-day (Adult Evaluations are scheduled in 60 minute slots Child Evaluations are scheduled in 90 minute slots)

How many other psych docs or np will they be working with?

6.5 Psychiatrist and 1 Nurse Practitioner

Must be covid vaccinated if onsite?

Vaccinated or obtain an approved waiver which will require testing twice per week.

Psychiatrist will have an assigned medical assistant to assist with the scheduled appointment (vitals, visit prep, updates, scheduling return visit, managing sample meds, and prior authorizations

and also whether they will need to prescribe suboxone?

If credentialed to prescribe suboxone this would be excellent. However, not required at this time, but needed.

Board Certified or within 5 year of residency.
