Elkhorn Mechanical and Combustion is seeking a highly skilled HVAC Technician to support our field operations in performing start-ups, service, and troubleshooting on advanced HVAC systemsparticularly VRF and DOAS. Key Responsibilities
Perform start-up and service of VRF and DOAS systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems and components.
Respond to emergency and non-emergency service calls in a timely, professional manner.
Communicate clearly with clients and manage scheduling for field visits.
Provide phone-based technical support when necessary.
Accurately track and report material usage and job progress.
Maintain a high standard of safety and cleanliness on job sites.
Collaborate with project teams and customers to ensure systems are functioning as designed.
Work independently and with minimal supervision at various customer sites.
Qualifications
6+ years of HVAC experience, preferably in commercial / industrial sectors.
Associate degree in HVAC or equivalent training preferred.
Must hold a valid Refrigeration License.
Strong knowledge of VRF and DOAS systems, and a willingness to continue learning.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Highly responsible, organized, and safety-focused.
Comfortable working independently in the field and handling direct customer interactions.
Ability to work on-call shifts for emergency service.
