Job Description
Job Responsibilities & Requirements :
- Execute Geotechnical project assignments including engineering analysis, report preparation, field exploration and laboratory services.
- Provide project-level development of reports and proposals.
- Field and laboratory sampling and testing.
- Oversight and testing on geotechnical projects during design and construction and respond to customers’ inquiries concerning testing progress and reporting.
- Implement and oversee department policies, goals, objectives, and procedures.
- Follow-up laboratory tests of various construction materials including soil, aggregate, concrete, asphalt, etc.
- Analyze test data and conduct corrective action to prevent non-conforming products.
- Ensure tests are carried out in accordance with relevant standard test methods and according to agreed customers’ requirements.
- Conduct analysis as required after receiving tests results from technicians and ensure compliance with standards.
- Ensure all site equipment and instruments are fit for use by provision of necessary resources for the implementation of calibration and maintenance programs.
- Any duties or responsibilities assigned by the management.
Education and Related Requirements :
B.S. degree (M.S. degree or Ph.D. is preferred) in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Geology or a related field.Successfully passed the E.I.T. or G.I.T. exam preferred.Strong oral and written communication skills.Demonstrates performance of independent analysis as well as strong problem-solving and organizational skills.Strong personal safety awareness.
