American Traveler is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for a night shift contract requiring ARDMS certification and a minimum of one year of experience.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Hospital setting focused on general ultrasoundNight shift schedule, Monday through Thursday, 4x10 hour shifts from 22 : 00 to 8 : 00Adult patient population in ER, portables, obstetrics required, ICU preferredUtilizes Epic, Pyxis, GE, and PACS systemsRotational call requiredMust be comfortable working every other weekend unless otherwise specifiedMust wear pewter grey scrubsA maximum of 7 days RTO (Requested Time Off) allowed, no RTO during the first week of assignmentTravel pairs are not permitted on the same shift in the same unitFull compliance with onboarding requirements is necessary to start on time; non-compliance may delay start by 2 weeksIf scheduled during one major holiday, the traveler is required to work it; if two holidays, both must be worked; if three holidays, two must be workedAny former permanent or PRN employees must be away from all Piedmont facilities for at least one full year before returning as a travelerReturned travelers previously unable to return to a facility must complete a successful assignment outside of Piedmont prior to rebooking at a new locationNo blocked scheduling is permittedLocal candidates are accepted at the same rate\n \n Requirements\n
Current ARDMS certification requiredMinimum of 1 year of ultrasound experience; first-time travelers will not be consideredExperience required in ER, portables, and obstetrics; ICU experience preferredFamiliarity with Epic, GE, and PACS systems advantageousLicense required if applicableMust provide two supervisory references from a manager or higher for consideration\n Benefits\n
