Summary
The Battery Systems Assembly Maintenance Technician Provides First Line Support for all Production Machinery and Assembly Machinery.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of BSA Maintenance Technicians are to include but not limited to, daily preventative maintenance, repair, installation, and removal of parts from machines and equipment. Logging and tracking of work, procedures as well as notating any abnormalities. This will require observing working machines, root cause analysis and working with engineers to solve problems, diagnosis of machines, robots, PLCs, VFDs, conveyors, bearings, gears, and HMI systems.
Basic Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and / or ability required and preferred for this position.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Five (5) or more years of experience as maintenance technician
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Technical Degree from an Accredited Technical Institute
- Working Knowledge of automotive industry
- Automotive manufacturing experience
- Experience with SAP
- Automated production line experience
- Manufacturing experience highly desired
- Knowledge of production robotics
- Knowledge of conveyor systems
- Familiarity with Lean work practices
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
