About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Minimum of 1 year in Medical Surgical nursing.

License : Required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Must-Have : Experience with Continuous Bladder Irrigation, Isolation Precautions, Med / Surg, Telemetry, and Pre / Post Hemodialysis Management.

Preferred : Experience with Epic charting system and LTAC.

Description :

Diagnosis includes general medical surgical and peritoneal dialysis.

Weekend work is required every other week.

Floating within the facility may be needed as per scope of practice.

If one major holiday falls during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it.

For two major holidays, the traveler is expected to work both.

For three major holidays, the traveler is expected to work two out of three.

Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Black Friday, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

Full compliance is required to start on time; non-compliance may result in a pushback of two weeks.

Local candidates are accepted with the same rate.

Two supervisory references are preferred for submission.

Candidates must be available to submit core items and complete necessary labs promptly after signing the contract.

Modules are non-billable and completed during orientation.

Patient demographics include adults and geriatrics.

Daily census is approximately 36 patients.

The unit provides interdisciplinary support, including physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy.
