In collaboration with medical providers, the RN provides pre-operative and post-operative nursing care. The RN serves as an advocate for patients to support an unparalleled patient experience.\n\nWhat you will do in this role : \n
• Demonstrates knowledge of human growth and development, assessment range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served\n
• Promotes customer service initiatives along with Skyline Medical Center Service Values. (HCAHPS)\n
• All behaviors fully support positive customer service (HCAHPS)\n
• Documents all patient care.\n
• Utilized Nursing Process for individual care to meet needs of patients.\n
• Demonstrates ability to perform technical skills and procedures.\n
• Promotes compliance with National Patient Safety Goals.\n
• Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.\n
• Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.\n
• Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.\n
• Perform the administration of prescribed medications and monitors response.\n
• Maintain a knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.\n\nWhat qualifications you will need : \n
• Current Registered Nurse license in Tennessee or appropriate compact state\n
• Appropriate communication skills\n
