Medical Assistant Cardiothoracic Surgery Clot Team

Join the Medical Assistant Cardiothoracic Surgery Clot Team role at Hillcrest HealthCare System.

You may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $3000. We are seeking a day shift, full-time, Cardiothoracic Surgery Medical Assistant in Tulsa, OK.

Get to Know Your Team :

  • Oklahoma Heart Institute offers 24 / 7 catheterization labs, cardiac rehabilitation, and a heart failure center. In addition, OHI is involved in over 200 cutting-edge research studies across the vast amount of specialties within the system.

    • Responsibilities :

  • Perform selected nursing and clerical duties that assist in patient care management.
  • Maintain an efficient patient flow, assist the physician during patient exams, and perform all necessary follow-up in a timely and accurate manner while exhibiting quality care.
  • Give medications and know the five rights of medication administration.
  • Screen phone calls from patients for the provider.

    • Qualifications :

  • Graduate of a Medical Assisting program, has RMA, CMA, or ABR credentials, or demonstrated Medical Assistant experience for more than 3 years.
  • Must be knowledgeable of medical terminology, routine office procedures, and medical instruments.
  • Must be skilled in the taking of vital signs.
