Summary
The Controls Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, installing, and maintaining equipment used to monitor and control engineering systems and processes. This role supports continuous improvement in system performance, safety, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain electrical design schedules from concept through system completion, ensuring alignment with overall project timelines.
- Test, evaluate, calibrate, and modify products and instruments to meet performance standards.
- Analyze plant processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Troubleshoot hardware and process-related issues to minimize downtime and optimize operations.
- Perform technical calculations to support design requirements, including electrical specifications, robotic safety standards, and motor control systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards and legal requirements in all engineering activities.
