CAD Designer

Position Summary :

The CAD Designer is responsible for developing and modifying engineering designs and preparing detailed drawings for medical implants and instrumentation according to specifications of their product line. Additionally, the CAD Designer will be focused on design for 3D Printing and prototyping, as well as assisting in the production of high-quality product display models.

Essential Functions :

• Design and detail medical instruments, implants, and display models using PTC Creo Parametric software.
• Interact with engineering, manufacturing, and quality personnel to complete required tasks.
• Work with the in-house prototype shop and outside vendors to ensure manufacturability.
• Communicate concepts to the in-house design teams. Develop and oversee designs from concept through production.
• Assist with the development and implementation of product display model design processes. Work directly with in-house 3D print team to ensure successful product display model production.
