About The Position

Job Title : Float Pool Registered Nurse

Profession : Registered Nurse

Experience : Two years of acute care hospital experience preferred

License : Current RN License

Certifications : BLS, ACLS

Must-Have :

Must be willing to float between eight different units.

Telemetry monitoring skills including measuring intervals and interpreting strips every four hours.

Experience with cardiac drips and telemetry strip reading.

Description :

Responsible for cardiac monitoring and management of cardiac drips.

Float throughout all Med / Surg Tele areas within the facility.

Care for patients in emergency departments and acute mental health units.

Provide care for non-vented patients who are transfer-ready from ICU.

Clinician to patient ratio is up to 5 : 1 during days and evenings, and up to 6 : 1 during nights.

Bed count for the facility is 371.

Units range in size from 8 to 41 beds.

Utilize EMR system for charting.
